Widows Empowerment Project

It is to our greatest displeasure seeing the sufferings of most widows in Africa especially those that married from a wicked cultural background and without a male child. In some part of Nigeria, once the husband of a woman dies, the widow will not have any inheritance in the husband house. All properties belonging to the man will be taken away by the husband’s family. Such widows are often exposed to sexual abuses from men who pretends helping her to meet her basic needs. Some of them end up producing children they cannot cater for. The consequences of this is still adding more problem to the society.

Africa-Our-Happy-Home Foundation has incorporated among our other services to help widows that are widows indeed. Not only providing them with skill acquisition training, we assist them financially to establish a business. Some of them we pay the school fees of their children up to a maximum of three from primary to secondary school level.
